Show Experience fQ s I "I' ''"' N"nl"'r" ET Presidents day dinner, next Monday Feb. 18. On the menu for this special dinner is: fried chicken; potatoes and gravy; glazed carrots; jello and green salads, cherry pie and ice-cream. Monday's dinner on Feb. 11, at the Golden Age Center had 140, enjoying the turkey casserole dinner. Mr. Lloyd Winward, spoke to the Senior Citizens on circuit tax breaks for Senior Citizens. Also on how to correctly make out a will, and the importance of having it done. We would like to thank Mr. Win-ward Win-ward for taking time out of his busy day's work to come and speak to us. Saturday the Historical Society met, here at the Center. The subject for this months meeting was the early history and settlement of Jensen, Utah. Mrs. Ila Cowan and also Mr. A. DeMar Dudley spoke. If you are interested in history of the Uintah Basin and would like to attend these meetings, they meet every second Saturday of the month, at 2:30 in the afternoon, in the Golden Age Center. Bingo winner for the first week in Fphruarv was Nola McNeil and Lula Chew, both having five games apiece. Second place was also a tie, Ada Murray Mur-ray and Lena Mast having four games and third place was Vernal Gehring with three games. Bingo is played every Tuesday at 1:30, if you would like to get in on the action. Again it was standing room only at the Friday night dance. Special guests Les ana juanita tsenunin oi Hemite, California said, "We had the best time ever at a dance." Les played a few numbers with Newel's Harmony Four. Newel and Les are brothers. Other newcomers at the dance were Lorin and Estella Richcns, Troy and Doris Burton, Bur-ton, Amy Lube, Lucille Lipphardt, Ronald and Joy Richens. Happy Birthday Birth-day was sung to Virginia Wamsley, Mo-nyan Mo-nyan Hayes and Reva Workman of Roosevelt. Welcome back Burle and Modena Bell. Modena had surgery sometime ago, we're glad to see them back, as they both are good dancers and love it. Also we were glad to see Mr. and Mrs. Karl Allred of Rangely back with us. Congratulations were extended to Julian Massey and Fllen Stephensen on their marriage Feb. 6. Jay Searle, dance director, says to bring your "best love" for the Valentine dance. See you all there, same time, same place for a night of good clean fun, dancing with friends and neighbors.
