Show Kiwanis disco dance Saturday Kiwanis will be meeting at 7 p.m. Saturday night, February 16, this week at the Scout House for a special Valentine's Valen-tine's Disco Dance. The wives will be special guests. Members are each asked ask-ed to bring two guests and the wives are asked to furnish a finger dish to share. Music arrangements are under the direction of David B. Smith. Nils Hofmann, Ken McLean, Nick Carter, Tom Grua and their wives journeyed to Salt Lake City for a Division Divi-sion 8 Workshop, followed by a dinner put on by the Sugarhouse Club honoring M. Jene Ambrose, Governor of the Utah-Idaho District Kiwanis. The program pro-gram was chaired by Lt. Governor Andrew An-drew W. Cooley and handled by the host Sugarhouse Club Kiwanis President, Richard W. Calvin. Tom Grua, of the Vernal Kiwanis Club, was presented with a Distinguished Service Award by the Utah-Idaho District Kiwanis International. Inter-national. Tom was even asked to be seated as a special guest at the head table. |
