She is alert and eager to have company and any correspondance. John llaslem has been fooling poorly but after visiting his doctor, Mon., he says he will be doing good very soon. Members of the Jensen Water Improvement Im-provement District voted Lewis Vincent Vin-cent and A. De Mar Dudley to act on the board for the ensuing six years. Ninety-one Ninety-one voters voted. Meril and Marynoll Snow motored to Salt Lake City to attend the state cattlemen's cat-tlemen's convention. They returned Sat. evening. Ward & Verna Murray and Doe & Ora Curfew traveled to Provo to visit with relatives and friends. They returned the following day. Mr. & Mrs. Howard Collett from La-point La-point drove to Jensen Sunday morning where they picked up Newell and Alice Snow, then drove to Maeser where Edna Ed-na Paincs joined them. They all motored to Flaming Gorge Lodge where they were greeted by Carl and Donna Collett and all enjoyed dinner and an afternoon of visiting and reminiscing. Howard, Alice, Carl and Edna are sisters and brothers. The only one of their family not able to be there w as their sister, Edith, of Farmington, Utah. Wiley and June Stewart from northern nor-thern California visited relatives and friends in Jensen this last week. Auer and Rita Warren attended their annual "Brother and Sister"' party. This year the party was held in Provo. They stayed one night at the home of the Jack Jensens,! Mrs. Jensen is Auer's sister) and one night with the Chuck Murrays, (Chuck is Rita's uncle). Mr. and Mrs. Lute Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Auer Warren motored to Neola last week to attend the funeral of "Aunt" Jen Woodward. DL'P camp Escalante will hold their Dec. meeting at the home of daughter Marynell Snow unless weather is bad, then the meeting will be held at daughter Alice Snows. The lunch will be "pot luck" with Christmas recipes featured. Each daughter w ill bring "two" treats of her choice. One will be served, the other will be an exchange gift. |
