Show CHRISTMAS DINNER! December 17 at the Golden Age Center, starting at 12:30. Planned on the menu for this dinner din-ner is: Turkey and ham slices; scalloped potatoes; corn; yam; green salad; Christmas Jello salad; carrot cake and ice cream. Be sure not to miss this dinner. Bingo winner for the week of Dec. 4, was a tie between Alice Mott and Marion Swain both having four games. A four-way tie for second place between Elvira Slaugh, Nola McNeil, Ada Murray Mur-ray and Edith Gale, all having three games. Wednesday . dinner at the Vernal Junior High School had 65 Senior Citizens enjoying the delicious roast beef dinner. Entertaining the group were the Honey Tones, lead by Christy Sullivan and accompanied by Micheal Karren. Monday's roast beef dinner at the Golden Age Center, had a crowd of 140. We would like to thank our wonderful cooks, who spend so much time in the kitchen preparing the food. Ada Murray, Mur-ray, Merle Eaton and Fadellice Hatch, Always making everything so tasty. Blood Pressure will be held on Monday Mon-day Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. Also Dec. 13, there will be a Social Security representative at the Golden Age Center from 9 to 12 p.m. to answer any questions you may have on your social security. A record breaking crowd attended the Friday night dance. Happy birthday was sung to the following dancers, Sandra San-dra Richens, Jay Searle, Tiny Wilkins, Glen Stephensen and Belva Hatch. Welcome back Joe and Kate Lopez, Jerry and Ruth Hatch, Clayton and Belva Hatch, Terry and Ileen Barker. Dee and Ora Curfew will be spearheading spear-heading a special party for the dancers and friends on Dec. 20 at the Center starting at 9 p.m. Be sure and circle your calendar for this fun evening that the Curfew's have planned for you. Many of the dancers enjoyed the Basinaires Saturday night in Roosevelt. Rick Martin, a new band member, captured cap-tured the hearts of the dancers with his beautiful singing. Deloy Richens is back in the hospital in Salt Lake City and Arda Winn Mansfield is on the sick list. We wish them a speedy recovery. Thelma Winn wishes to thank all of the dancers and friends of the area for the support during the loss of her husband, Golden Winn. The dancers signed Christmas cards for Wendell and Leola Freston, Loraine Farnsworth, Afton and Cecila Richens, who are all serving missions. A card was also signed for Deloy Richens.
