Show Camp Tokawana DUP celebrates at Christmas party With mistletoe and holly, and everyone real jolly the members of Camp Tokawana DUP met on December 7th at the home of Sharol Thomson for their annual Christmas Party. Captain Marie Lee conducted. The prayer and blessing on the food was given by Ethel Bowden, then pot-luck pot-luck dinner was served to 20 members and 5 guests. The guests were Elizabeth Price, Janet Nelson, Stacey Nelson, Charlene Hall, and Margo Thomson. The pledge to the flag was led by Electa Caldwell. The program went as follows: Stacey Nelson led the group in singing "Silent Night" accompanied by Eva Hatch; "Silver Bells' was sung by Sharon Evertson; Stacey Nelson sang "The Most Wonderful Day of the Year," Thelma Thacker played a medley of Christmas songs on the autoharp, and Charlene Hall accompanied ac-companied herself on the guitar as she sang "C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S." The members then exchanged gifts. Our next meeting will be held on January 4 at the home of Delores SteDhenson. |
