Graduates from Navy school Navy Senior Cheif Tradesman Earl W. Walker, son of Asael O. and Lois M. Walker of Vernal, was graduated from Basic Instructor School. During the four-week course at the Naval Training Center, San Diego, the students gained a fundamental knowledge of instructor, supervisor and counselor duties at other Navy schools. They received instruction on lesson plan preparation, classroom presentation presenta-tion techniques, oral delivery, the use of training aids and personnel guidance and counseling skills. A 1956 graduate of Uintah High School, Walker joined the Navy in January 1958.
