Show Final Rites Accorded MaxW. Heyborne, Native of Cedar City Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Wednesday in the Cedar Tenth Ward chapel by Bishop Allen Al-len Bauer for Max W. Heyborne, 56, who died Saturday morning following a short Illness. Mr. Heyborne was born in Cedar Ce-dar City on March 25, 1908, a son of Samuel L. and Elizabeth Webster Web-ster Heyborne, and resided here all his life. He was an employee of the Columbia Iron Mining Co. for 29 years. He married La Neta Alger Lewis Lew-is on Sept. 26, 1835 in Parowan. He is survived by his widow and a nephew whom he raised, Doug Ray Alger, Cedar City. Also surviving are the following follow-ing brothers and sisters: Charles W., Samuel W., and Kenneth W., all Cedar City; Mrs. Afton (Ethel) (Eth-el) Nielsen, Santa Monica, Calif.; Mrs. F. C. (Lillian) Nutty, Los Angeles; Mrs. Carl (Carol) Bedford, Bed-ford, Reseda, Calif. Speakers at the funeral services ser-vices were Lorraine Condie and James Heywood, with remarks by the Bishop, Invocation was by Wallace Heap, benediction by Walter, Meldrum, and dedication of the grave r-y J. Don Alger. Prayer at the mortuary was by Verdun Glazier. The musical program Included a duet by Howard and A iron Wood and a vocal solo by Ralph Hafen. Prelude and Postlude music mu-sic was by Deanna N orton. Burial was In the Cedar City cemetery. |
