Show NEWS OF ACTIVITIES IN SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence and five children left Friday for Logan where they will spend five days with Mrs. Lawrence's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Kirfg and other family members. Recent visitors at the Bertrand Dalley home were Mrs. Wallace Cowdell, her son, Dr. Lee Cow-dell, Cow-dell, his wife and two children, also the doctor's father in-law, Mr. Woods of Los Angeles. Billy Harrison of Newcastle spend the week end here with his sister, Mrs. Rodger Morton, and family. Kathleen Dalley left last week for Zlon National Park and Robert Rob-ert Walker went to Grand Canyon Can-yon where they have employment employ-ment for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Von Davis arrived ar-rived at the Cedar City airport Friday afternoon, after enjoying a six day vacation at Nassau in the Bahamas, and two day's visit vis-it to the World's Fair in New York City. They returned to their home in Richfield that same af ternoon, taking their daughters Laurie and Janice, who had been visiting here with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley. Dal-ley. Arthur Pratt of Gardena, Calif, visited here Sunday with friends and relatives. He was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. Earl Stapley returned home over the week end after being In Salt Lake City for the past few weeks where he has had employment. employ-ment. Mrs. Carlisle Hulet received word Sunday from her brother, Gerald Matthews of Provo, that his son had drowned in the Utah Lake, while rescuing a girl. Mr. and Mrs. Hulet traveled to Provo Pro-vo to attend funeral services. |
