Benson Recite Weddinq Vows in St. George Temple In rites solemnized last Friday Fri-day morning in the St. George LDS Temple Miss Sandra Deckel became of the bride of Lloyd A. Benson. President Ilugder Atkin of the temple officiated in the double r i i i : ceremony in the presence of the parents of the bride and l.ridcgrtn.m: Mr. and Mrs. Aneel Adams, Mrs. Lioyd S McDaniels ami David Lanier. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wood row N. Decker and parents of the bridegroom lire Mr. and Mrs. Lu i'is M. Benson, nil of Parowan. That same ceniiig the bridal couple were honored at a reception recep-tion held in the Parowan Third Ward Recreation hall. For this occasion the bride wore a floor length original mo del gown of peau de soie, with a bodice of alencon lace. It featured fea-tured full length pointed sleeves, a fitted empire waist line and a long chapel train. Pearls antl sequins se-quins dottetl the scalloped neck line, and flower shaped alencon lace accented the skirt and sleeves. She wore a veil of illusion il-lusion with a crown of pearls antl sequins. The h'Ului l..:quet was white anil pink carnations and rose buds. Attending the britle as maid of honor was Miss Joan Desker, a sister, and bridesmaids were Miss Sharlene Decker, sister of the bride; Miss Marilee Adams, Mrs. Rowland Yardley. Miss Vicki Lee I Robinson and Miss Mary Kay Evans. They wore matching outfits out-fits of pink sarrano dresses, pink shoes, white and pink carnation nosegays and white gloves. David Lanier of Ogtlen, a missionary mis-sionary companion of the bridegroom, bride-groom, stood as best man, and ushers were Jerry Wanl, Kenneth Simkins, and Errol Orton. For the oec-fion the mother of the britle wo: a pink cast beige embroidered sarrano sheath and mother of the bridegroom wore a aqua blue brocaded taffeta sheath, and each wore corsages 'of pink antl white carnations. For her honeymoon the bride wore a three-piece green linen suit with accessories to match. The honeymoon consisted of a 3-tlay 3-tlay trip to northern I'tah and the national parks. The bride attended CSU during the past winter antl is at pies ent employed at Cowley Drug in Cetlar City. Mr. Benson has also attended CSU and is presently employed with the Dixie Forest Service. He has also fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church in .Northern California. At the reception the lace co - 1 eretl serving table was centered with a tiered rose clustered j.ink and white wedding cake. Refresh- meats were in charge of cousins of the bride, Mrs. Howard Stubbs, Mrs. Reed Or'p, V:-.. Hall decorations were in charge of Mrs. Kenyon Robinson, assistetl assist-etl by Mrs. James Benson, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. At the guest table were M Alyson Adams antl Miss Vicki Worthen.
