Show Esther Orton Family To Meet July 4 in First Annual Reunion Preparations are almost complete com-plete for the first reunion of the Esther E. Orton Family it is announced an-nounced by Mrs. Reed Gower, who adtls that the event will be held at Vermilion Castle Recreation Recrea-tion Area on Saturday, July 4. All descendents of Mrs. Orton have been invited to gather in 1 In time for the parade, after which they will go to the Five Mile to spend the rest of the day, Mrs. Gower informs us. This is the first time an event of this kintl has been held for members of the family and all descendents of "Aunt" Esther, are urged to attend. The time will be spent in getting get-ting acquainted, visiting, with games and sports for the young folks and all will he climaxed by a buffet dinner to be prepared and served to all present. Esther Orton was the mother of 12 children, and six of them are still living: They are two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca O. Smith and Mrs. Maggie O. Page, Parowan, Paro-wan, four sons, Silas T., Twenty T. antl A. Hills, Parowan, and Ellis El-lis T. Orton, Buhl, Idaho. |
