Acquires Firm of Parcells and Stowe Security Title Company of southern Utah has acquired the Abstract and Title business of Parcells and Stowe of Parowan which includes the abstracts and records of the original Mayhew H. Dalley Company. This company com-pany was begun in 1880 and until un-til 1963 was directed by Hillman Dallcy, son of Mayhew, and a prominent Iron County citizen. Parcells and Stowee was begun by H. C. Parcell in 1918 in Parowan. Paro-wan. Since his death hi 1946, the business has been operated by his daughter, Georgia Parcells Stowe and his son, Homer Par-cell. Par-cell. The transfer will take effect July 1, and will continue the representation rep-resentation of Security Title Company which was activated in 1944. Mr. Hillman Dalley will continue to serve as consultant to the new company. Named President of the Security Securi-ty Title Company of Southern Utah was Dan A. Robison, who has been associated since IViS with the Security Title Company of Salt Lake City. A native of Millard County, Mr. Robison attended at-tended Jordan High School in Salt Lake and the University of Utah The new company will operate from the old Parcells home in Parowan at 111 East 100 North, as a qualified company offering complete abstract and title service ser-vice in Beaver, Iron, Washington, Garfield, Kane, and Piute counties. coun-ties. Mr. Robison announces that policies of tilo insurance in these areas will be issued from the office in Paronwan rather than Salt Lake City to expedite service. Secretary of the new company is Mrs. Karen Robison. Vice president is Mark E. Eg-gertsen, Eg-gertsen, President of the Security Securi-ty Title Company In Salt Lake City. The creation of this company com-pany completes the state-wide organization of Security Title Company. |
