CHICAGO, May 2!.--Lowest prices yet this season resulted In the euromarket today from prospects of bumper new crops of virtually everything but corn. The finish was unsettled, Jc to le down, with June $1.33 and July $1.35 to $1.35. Oats closed unchanged to c higher, The outcome in provisions varied from 60c decline to a rise of 5c. Indications of a period of higher temperatures tem-peratures and of fair weather, desirable at present for corn growth, added in ;t material degree to bearish sentiment, based largely on the excellent general crop outlook and on reports of big coun-try coun-try supplies of coarse grain. Notwithstanding Notwith-standing that the acreage of corn was expected to prove smaller than last year, opinions prevailed that the total would be big enough to assure a liberal yield if weather conditions on the whole were good. Accordingly, the fact that for the moment rain was excessive and sunshine deficient had only a transient Influence. Rallies, which were numerous, seemed to lie due wholly to buying on the part or shorts anxious to secure profits. Month-end evening up of business in the May option gave an appearanco or I relative tirmness to outs.
