Show FRIENDS WOULD FREE CHARLES HENDERSON Steps were taken yesterday looking to release on bond of Charles Henderson, recently committed to the state mental hospital at Provo as insane. His commitment com-mitment was the outcome of his own claims of having participated in the perfection per-fection and operation of a flying machine controlled by John Van Valkenburg-, who also has been committed to the mental institution. Friends of Henderson refuse to believe he is dangerous or likely to prove so. Affidavits Af-fidavits to this affect were filed yesterday yester-day in the Third district court and an order issued by Judge Harold M. Stephens Ste-phens that Henderson be brought before him June 7 for examination to determine if his condition will permit of his being released on bond. |
