Show SOCCER TEAMS MAY PLAY FOR WAR FUND NEW YORK, May 29, The challenge , of the Belgian soccer football team, offering of-fering to play one or more international matches in this country for the benefit of the war relief fund, has been accepted by several prominent combinations, among them the Bethlehem Steel club, national champions. Several other teams in various parts ot the country have requested that, should the Belgian team come to this country, games be arranged for them upon their home grounds.' It is proposed that a series of three games be played, to be staged at Washington, New York, and one other city, probably in Hie middle west. I |
