Show FITZGERALD TO HAVE MILITARY FUNERAL Obsequies to Be Conducted at Cathedral Cathe-dral of Madeleine Tomorrow Morning. A military funeral for Major (Chaplain) (Chap-lain) K. H. Fitzgerald, who died last week at Sawtelle. Cal., w-ill be held in the Cathedral of the Madeleine, this city, at 10 o'clock Friday morning. Major Fitzgerald was attached to tho Twentieth infantry, stationed at Fort Douglas, and it is' for that reason that his funeral is to be held in this city. Solemn high mass of requiem will be said in honor and memory of Major Fitzgerald by the Right Rev. Joseph S. Glass, C. M.. L). D., bishop of the diocese. dio-cese. Officers stationed at Fort Douglas Doug-las w-ill act as pallbearers and sergeants of the Twentieth will serve as body bearers. The body will lie in state in the cathedral from 7 o'clock in the morning until the hour for the mass of requiem. Interment will be in Calvary eem'etery. Bishop Glass will be assisted St. the mass by Father C. A. Eck, deacon; Father ' H. J. Wientjes, suhdeason; Fathers Michael Sheehan and J. F. De-Groot, De-Groot, deacons of honor, and Mgr. P. M. Cushnahan, assistant priest. |
