Show ALTA ROADS 1 II SHAPE FOR HAULING South Hecla Resumes Shipping; Ship-ping; Big Accumulation to Be Moved. The road into Alta is once more in condition for ore hauling and the movement move-ment of the accumulation from some of the mines lias begun, according to information infor-mation received from the camp yesterday yester-day by Manager George H. Watson of the .South Hecla and other properties in the district. From the reports received, Mr. Watson is of the opinion that the roads will be in shape to permit hauling from now until late next winter. The first hunch of teams left the South Hecla Tuesday afternoon and it is expected ex-pected that the transportation will be uninterrupted for six or seven months. At the South Hecla there are between 2000 and 3000 tons of ore broken and ready for movement and sufficient reserves re-serves have been developed to keep ship-'ments ship-'ments moving forward throughout the summer. ( As soon as the accumulation is moved from the South Hecla, Manager Watson plans to begin shipping from the Alta-Mlchfgan Alta-Mlchfgan and the South Hecla Extension. Approximately rive cars of ore have been broken at the South Hecla Extension and about two carloads are at the Alta-Michigan Alta-Michigan awaiting transportation. |
