Show NEWCASTLE The Stake M I A officers were in attendance at our regular meeting Tuesday night and presented pre-sented a very enjoyable program. ' Two members of the Stake High Priests, Reed Cox and Reed Prince were visitors at Sunday School and gave some very interesting in-teresting talks. Mr. and Mrs. Max Riggs of Las Vegas, Nev., spent Thanksgiving Thanks-giving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Gillies. Mrs. Riggs is the former Miss Bonnie J. Gillies. Jerome Tullis of Salt Lake City spent the week end here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Tullis. Cain Christensen, who in company com-pany with his wife and Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Jones, recently made a trip through Arizona and Old Mexico, gave a most interesting talk on the trip and the points of interest visited. The Newcastle Relief Society members are planning a bazaar to be staged on Saturday, Dec. 6, and extend an invitation to everyone to attend. Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Heaton, par-ents par-ents of Glen Heaton of Cedar City, who have spent the past summer here caring for Glen's property, have returned to their home in Salt Lake City for the Christmas holidays. Mr and Mrs. Gordon Knell and family spent Thanksgiving in California with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Uriah Jones spent Thanksgiving in Kanab with Mrs. Jones' parents. Miss Fern Beacham has gone to Tooele where she has employment em-ployment for the winter. |
