Show United States Civil Service Commission Sets Exams for Auditors; Student, Science Aids The United States Civil Service Commission today announced examinations ex-aminations for auditor (industrial (indus-trial cost audits and internal audits), au-dits), and resident in hospital administration. The auditor positions pay $4,205 to $10,800 a year and are in the Department of the Army located in Washington, D. C, and in various other large cities throughout the country. Men only on-ly are desired. No written test vvill be given. Appropriate experience, ex-perience, or education and experience ex-perience is required. The maximum maxi-mum age limit is 62 years. Resident hospital administration administra-tion positions pay $2,200 a year and are located in Veterans' hospitals hos-pitals throughout the country. No .vritten test will be given. Appropriate Ap-propriate education is required. The age limits, waived for veterans, veter-ans, are 18 to 35 years. Persons who successfully complete the residency, which is 12 months in length, will be eligible for promotion pro-motion to positions paying $4,205 a year. New examinations were announced an-nounced today by the United States Civil Service Commission for student aid trainees, paying $2,950 and $3,175 a year, and for physical science aid and engineering engi-neering aid, paying $2,500 and $2,750 a year. The positions are located in various Federal agencies agen-cies in Washington, D. C, and vicinity. Some student aid trainee train-ee positions in meteorology will i also be filled in agencies out-, side Washington. The student aid trainee examination exam-ination is open to college sophomores sopho-mores and juniors majoring in the fields of chemistry, physics, mathematics, metallurgy, meteorology, mete-orology, and various branches of engineering. Appointments will be for employment during school vacation periods or for periods of employment 'of students in cooperative courses. Applicants imust have completed appropriate appropri-ate college study; a written test will be given. Students who expect ex-pect to complete the required study by June 30, 1953 may apply. ap-ply. Applications will be accepted accept-ed until further notice. To qualify for physical science aid and engineering aid posi tions, applicants must take a written test and in addition, must have had pertinent experience exper-ience or education.
