Show Write-in Votes Win Election For Leo Larson Leo Larson, who recently resigned re-signed the position of Bishop of the Cedar Sixth ward, Wednesday Wednes-day was elected a member of the Board of Education of the Iron County school district, in a write-in write-in campaign that carried him to victory. Mr. Larson, co-owner of the Zion Candy Kitchen in Cedar will serve for a period of five years, beginning Jan. 1, 1953, and will succeed B. Glen Kenney. Mr. j Kenney, who has served on the board for the past five years, is president of the board this year, and served as vice president during dur-ing 1951. Mr. Kenney had Indicated before be-fore the filing date that he would probably not file for reelection, re-election, but as the deadline was reached and no candidate had been filed, he was persuaded to file for re-election.
