Show Police Chief Tells Kiwanians oi Arrests In the first 10 months of 1952 the Cedar City police department completed 1250 arrest cases in the courts of Cedar City, according accord-ing to Police Chief Tony Lambert Lam-bert Chief Lambert made the statement at the meeting of the Cedar City Kiwanis club Monday evening, when he appeared as the principal speaker on a program pro-gram . dealing with safety and traffic problems. The program was under the di-rection di-rection of Neal Carter, chairman ol the club safety committee. Chief Lambert pointed out that of the 1250 cases, 870 were traffic violations of various types but not including such violations viola-tions as improper parking. The remaining 380 cases covered all other types of arrests, including drunkenness, theft, and other such violations of the law. |
