Show Club Notes Mrs. Ralph Box Twelve members of the Wednesday Wed-nesday club were the guests this week of Mrs. Giles Bolander for luncheon and bridge. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Arthur Burnham, Mrs. Wirth Wood, Mrs. Sam Gentry and Mrs. Donald Mathews. ' Mrs. Bruce Decker entertained at a bridge luncheon Thursday evening at her home. Places were set for Mrs. York Nelson, Mrs. R. C. Morris, Mrs. York Jones, Mrs. Court Nelson, Mrs. Dale Milne, Mrs. Victor Frei, Mrs. Claron Bradshaw, Mrs. Arthur Higbee, Mrs. V. J. Clove, Mrs. Willis Wynn, Miss Marjorie Marsdcn, Mrs. Carl Croft. Score prizes were won by Mrs. York Nelson and Mrs. Morris. Mrs. Carl Twitchcll was hostess host-ess Thursday at her home at a luncheon followed by canasta, i Ladies enjoying the afternoon were Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith, Mrs. Don Alger, Mrs. Harry Rhodes, Mrs. Kenneth Reese, Mrs. Arthur Fretwell, Mrs. Carl Hazel, and Mrs. Arthur Jones. Ladies of the Operating Engineers Engi-neers met Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Carl Hazel. The time was spent preparing and wrapping Christmas gifts to be sent to the children of the American Amer-ican Fork training school. Mrs. Evan Dobson was hostess host-ess Monday evening to the members mem-bers of her Duplicate club. Special Spe-cial guests were Mrs. Conway Tarry, Mrs. Richard Leigh and Mrs. Robert Gardner. Bridge scores were awarded to Mrs. L. V. Broadbent, Mrs. Glade Stephenson, Steph-enson, Mrs. Clyde Higbee and Mrs. Dee Cowan. Mrs. Carl Hazel entertained Tuesday evening at her home for the members of her bridge club. A birthday remembrance was given gi-ven to Mrs. Hugh Cheever. Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith and Mrs. Paul Stewart were awarded the bridge prizes. The Ladies 'of Elks club will hold its annual Christmas party par-ty Thursday, Dec. 18, at 8 p. m. Ladies will Join Santa Claus at the club room for an evening of merriment with plans under the direction of Mrs. Ernest Macfar-lane, Macfar-lane, committee chairman. |
