Show Geraldine Wade, Jean E. Rollins Take Marriage Vows A candlelight ceremony performed per-formed by Bishop Fernleigh Gardner at the Bert Smith residence resi-dence united Geraldine Wade, Cedar City, and Jean E. Rollins of Parowan In marriage, Saturday Satur-day evening, Nov. 29. Miss Wade is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wade of Cedar City and Mr. Rollins a son oi Mr. Evan Rollins of Parowan. The double-ring wedding was attended by relatives and close friends of the bride and groom. Miss Wade looked lovely in a short sleeved white satin and net gown with a fingertip veil connected with seed pearls to a white satin crown. She carried a bouquet of red roses. Following the nuptial ceremony cere-mony a reception was held at the Smith home with a large number of friends honoring the newly-weds. newly-weds. Assisting the bride were Dianne Smith as maid of honor, and Marilyn Arns and Muriel Hirschi as bridesmaids. Clayton Tullis of Parowan assumed the duties of best man for the groom. Serving at the reception were Colleen Leigh and Marian Arns while Mrs. Bette Macfarlane and Bonnie Higbee attended the gift room. Xola May Mitchell handled hand-led the guest book for the young couple. Immediately after the reception recep-tion the newlyweds left for a short honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev., after which they returned re-turned to Cedar City where the young couple will make their home. |
