Show Fmmn I nVrn Fwll Emma LaVern Kendell Ewell, age 74, of Genola, died Tuesday, March 5, 1991, at her home, of complications resulting from a rare infection. She was bom April 8, 1916, in South Weber, to George Wilkinson and Josephine Nilsson Jacobs Kendell. She was educated in Davis County Schools; graduated from Davis High School, John R. Barnes Seminary and Weber School of Beauty. She resided and was employed in the Ogden area until 1941. She married Thomas Milo Ewell, Nov. 6, 1940, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She served two LDS mission, mis-sion, the first to the East Central States; the second, with her hus band, to Montana. Her service in the various church organizations extends ex-tends over 60 years. 1 Survivors include her husband, five children; Kendell and Neal, of Genola; Calvin, West Mountain; Mrs. Fred (Corinne) Lee, Orem; and Mrs. Ronnie (LaVern) Crump, Payson; 35 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Eddy (Sarah) Martin, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Glen (Thelma) Stuart, Layton. A brother, Edward Kendell, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held March Mar-ch 9, at the Genola LDS Chapel. Interment, Santaquin City Cemetery, under the direction of Holladay Hills Funeral Home. |
