Show Teen help Davis County Mental Health is offering an assertive training class for youth, ages 13-17. This seven-week seven-week course will help kids identify the difference among passive, aggressive ag-gressive and assertive behavior. It will provide instruction, discussion and practice in handling peer pressure, making and refusing requests, coping with criticism, developing de-veloping self-esteem, expressing positive and negative emotions, giving giv-ing and receiving compliments, and increasing communication skills, especially with parents. The class will meet on Tuesday afternoons, from 4-5:30 p.m., at the Layton office, 2250 N. 1700 West, beginning April 2. Rhonda Feller will be the instructor and the cost for the class will be $32.
