Show Area gymnasts excel in multi-state meet Provo. The girls who qualify at the State Competition will go to Regional Competition. Level Nine i1 " 1 " Region als will be held in San Diego, Calif. Level Eight Regionals will be held in Phoenix, Ariz. nasties of Layton placed first with 104.5, Arizona Aerials came in second se-cond with 102.1 and Rocky Mountain Moun-tain Gymnastics of Salt Lake City came in third place with 101.85. Individual results from USA Gymnastics World in the 9-11 year old Division were Chclsa Bastian, who placed first on balance beam, third on floor exercise and fourth in all-around. Kelcy Wathen placed third on uneven parallel bars and 10th on all-around. Sara Hames placed fifth on vault and eighth in all-around. In the Junior Division Alynda Riggs placed fifth on balance bal-ance beam. In the senior division Kristin Christensen placed first on balance beam, third on vault, floor exercise and all-around and fifth on uneven parallel bars. The team's next competition is State. It will be held March 29 and 30, at Brigham Young University in JORDAN USA Gymnastics World of Woods Cross, under the coaching of Shari Kwiatkowski and Ned Lang, competed at the Bailies Invitational at South Jordan High School on March 9. Thirteen teams I competed including teams from Phoenix, Ariz, and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Level Nine Team placed third in team competition. Individual results in the senior division were: Gin a Gibbs placed first on floor exercise, second on balance beam, fourth on vault and all-around. Rebecca Dunkley placed first on vault. In the junior division Brooke Palmer placed plac-ed third on vault, fifth on uneven parallel bars, floor exercise and all-around all-around and sixth place on balance beam.
