Show Rodabough named new justice WOODS CROSS City officials offi-cials have appointed Harry Rodabough to replace the late Robert T. Matheson as iustice of the peace. Rodabough, a Woods Cross resident resi-dent for 14 years, brings a wealth of law enforcement experience to the job. He served in the Orem Police Department for six years and has extensive ex-tensive experience as an investigator f - " with the Utah Criminal History Bureau, Bu-reau, Recovery Services and the Medical Examiners Office. He currently serves as a special investigator in-vestigator with the Union Pacific Railroad and will divide his time between be-tween that job and his new position. As a justice court judge, Rodabough will try class B misdemeanors and settle small claims. Court will be in session on Thursdays. Cases requiring requir-ing a trial will be on Friday, he said. "I'd like to continue the high degree of professionalism displayed by Judge Matheson, who did an excellent job for a number of years Rodabough said Rodabough said many people find court to be a negative experience, something he wants to reverse by presiding with justice and fairness. "People might have to pay a fine, but I want them to feel the proceeding was fair so they have a positive feeling feel-ing when they leave," he said. Rodabough is married to the former Caryl Lee Ashton. They have six children and nine grandchildren. |
