Show VHS classes compete for points world's record for the biggest tug-a-war. The place will be in front of the school, the time 2 p.m., the amount: We need close to 1,500 people. So if any of you readers would like to participate, you are more than welcome to join. HF Views J Finally the last of the Sports competitions will be sponsored by the senior class, and it will consist of a three-on-three coed basketball tournament. So come join in and win a few extra points for your class. Wednesday also brings a dress-up dress-up day. Because this is a games week and there are all types of sports and activities we would like you to wear something from your favorite team: BYU, Utah, UNLV, Viewmont, Jazz, Giants, etc. For the grand finale, Thursday will bring the first-ever Gladiator Assembly. You will see jousting, powerball, a Velcro wall jump, the obstacle course and many, many more. Come cheer on the students as they try to battle the teachers, who are posing as gladiators. The winning class will be announced an-nounced at the end of the assembly after all the points are tallied up. The winning class will receive an incredible trophy and stardom beyond compare. So good luck and may the best class win. By AL Student Reporter Can you believe I'm back and running? Greetings from the sunny shores of Spain. The jet lag is gone (almost) and my brain is working fairly normal and just in time for Games Week (or la semana de los juegos for all you bilingual people). This is the first week ever, in which the sophomore class, junior class and senior class are all in competition competi-tion together. A fair competition. Monday was joke day. Hundreds and thousands of jokes were asked and if you knew the answer you would come and tell the SBO's. If your answer was correct, you received points for your respective class. To add to the excitement the sophomore class offered a ping pong tournament. Tuesday (today) was and is the scavenger hunt. Hidden throughout Viewmont High School are millions of eggs. Inside each egg is a number with a respective point value. Some of the corresponding numbers also contain prizes. Tonight the junior class is sponsoring spon-soring a volleyball tournament in the gym. Wednesday, Viewmont High School will attempt to break the |
