Show Sherman Schofield CLEARFIELD Sherman Schofield, 60, died Monday, March 18, 1991 in Yuma, Ariz, of a heart condition. He was bom April 13, 1930, in Syracuse, a son of Burton and Eudora Smith Page Schofield. He married Edean Adams, in Ogden, Nov. 8, 1948. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple April 20, 1962. Reared and educated in Syracuse and Clearfield -iid graduated from Davis High School. He was a high priest in the Clearfield Clear-field Third LDS Ward, Clearfield North Stake. He had been in the presidency of the elders quorum and the Young Mens. He worked for Clearfield City for 37 years, where he had been public works director. He had also worked for Mountain Bell for 15 years. He loved to travel and was a former member of the Clearfield Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his wife of Clearfield; two sons and one daughter, Kerry Dee Schofield and Sherman David Schofield, both of Clearfield; Mrs. Larry (Sherma Dean) Stuart, Clinton; three grandchildren, grand-children, Tanna Stuart, Michael Larry Stuart and Robert Sherman Stuart, all of Clinton. Also surviving are his father, Burton Schofield of Clearfield; three brothers and one sister, Jex Lamar Schofield and Glen Thomas Schofield, both of Clearfield; Dale Schofield, California; Mrs. Vernon (Norma) Hulse, Sumaria, Idaho. Funeral services were held March Mar-ch 23, 1991 at the Clearfield Third Ward chapel. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary. |
