Show Enoch By VEDA MATIIESON Record Correspondent Stake President and Mrs. Steven Grimshaw were in Salt Lake City last week on business. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Prindle of Enoch returned recently from a trip to Hawaii. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson enjoyed a brief visit with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murie who 'vere in Cedar City on usiness from their home a Mesa, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hutson were in Salt Lake City part of last week. They spent some time at the Salt Lake LDS Temple with family members. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Wells visited with Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Pace. The Wells family lives in California. Mrs. Ondra Crawford, Mrs. Jo Matheson and Mrs. Mary Stathis were in St. George on Friday where they attended a baking seminar presented by the Xebo School District. Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Christiansen were in Montazuma Creek this week helping Mr. and Mrs. Mark Christiansen and family. Mark and Debbie have a new baby boy. This gives them theee boys. David Bones and his family were speakers at Sacrament Meeting on Sunday in the Enoch Second Ward. David leaves soon for a mission to Canada, and was honored at an open house on Sunday evening. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Bones. Here from out of town were his brothers, Bob of San Diego, Calif., and Dan Bones of Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Smith stopped to visit for a few days with Don and Cheri Smith and family. Walt and Blye have been in Phoenix and were on their way home to Salt Lake City. Mass Matheson was honored on this eightieth birthday last Saturday Blanch LeBaron (center) is congratulated by Enoch PTA president Susan Griffiths (right) after being made an honorary life member of the PTA. Mrs. LeBaron's husband, George, watches. Mrs. LeBaron was cited for her service at a special assembly last week celebrating the birthdays of the PTA and the Enoch Elementary School. |
