Show VM- LA ,-. laeSlss-' Mr. and Mrs. Lerin Terry Porter Pair recite temple vows Lerin Terry Porter claimed Debby Rindlisbacher as his bride in rites solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Feb. 5, 1981. Elder Paul H. Dunn officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Hal Rindlisbacher, Riverton, and Mr. and Mrs. Lerin Porter, Cedar City. Following the ceremony, the Porters hosted a wedding dinner at the Lion House in Salt Lake. The young couple was honored at a reception that same evening in the Riverton North Stake Center. Maid of honor was Lydia Pace, and the bridesmaids were Cherie Crawford (sister of the bridegroom), Darla Crump and Sue Ellen Oniki. The flower girls were Charity Crawford, Anjeanette Porter and Jennifer Jen-nifer Nielson (nieces of the couple). Merrily Bird (sister of the bridegroom) presided at the guest book, and a sister-in-law, Paula Porter, was in charge of the gift table. Best man was Tom Heaton, with Dennis Porter and Kevin Rindlisbacher also greeting guests in the receiving line. The ushering was done by brothers-in-law Dennis Bird and Curtis Crawford. Grandparents in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Rindlisbacher and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Beckstead of Riverton and a great-grandmother, Mrs. Vera Ainsworth of Holiday. The bridegroom's grandmother, Mrs. Edward S. Terry of St. George, was unable to attend. The bride is a graduate of Bingham High School where she was a cheerleader for three years, a member of the National Honor Society and a recipient of the Sterling Scholar award in business. She attended BYU and then went to BYU-Hawaii for a semester. It was in Hawaii that the young couple met and became engaged. She is presently majoring in nursing at BYU-Provo. Mr. Porter is a graduate of Cedar High School where he was a member of Leo Club, president of a cappella ' choir and was an outstanding Individual Eventist in Legislative Forum. ' ' He is an Eagle Scout and earned the Duty to God Award. He served two years in the England Bur-mingham Bur-mingham Mission for the LDS Church and is presently majoring in finance and estate planning at BYU-Provo. |
