Show MX meeting slated Southern Utah businessmen will be told how to enter the bidding process to provide work or materials for the proposed MX missile system in a breakfast meeting Friday at 7:30 a.m. at the Sugar Loaf Cafe, 301 S. Main Street. Lurman A. Neal, chief of the Air Force's Small Business Utilization Office at Norton Air Force Base, Calif., will speak and answer questions at the meeting. A free continental breakfast will be served immediately before the scheduled two-hour gathering. It is being co-sponsored co-sponsored by the Iron County Commission and the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce. "The most up-tp-date information will be shared at this meeting, and some written handouts han-douts will also be available," said Garth Jones, Chamber of Commerce executive seretary. "Those businesses in a position to provide subcontractor services for the MX should definately attend," added Jones. "If a business is not sure whether or not it could provide MX services ser-vices or materials, it should still be represented at the meeting and find out." The Friday gathering is a follow-up to one held in July 1980, where initial information to local businessmen was provided. |
