' ... , ' ' ' ' 'X- '' "" ' ; . ; UTETTE CHASERS delight the crowd with a performance du'r- 4 ing the Spring Review at Uintah High School Friday. Uintah High School's drill team and flagtwirlers of 1981-82 put on a final show for its fans in the annual Spring Review at Uintah High School Friday in Vernal. Such performances as "Whip it," "Peter Piper," Come Back," "Knock on Wood," "Heavy Metal," "Splish Splash," "Flame Thrower," "Too Much Time On My Hands," "You Make My Dreams Come True," "Uette Tribune," "Elvira," "It's a War," "Pac Man," "Drill Down," "Better Than Ever," and a AJan Parson's routine took place in the Spring Review. Lyle Gillman served as the master of ceremonies and Claire Spencer performed per-formed a musical number. The Cluckettes-RKG club and the Uette Chasers also treated the crowd to a couple cou-ple of marching numbers. The 1981-82 Uettes consisted of Karen Haslem, president; Heidi Morris, vice president; Enette Timothy, drill mistress; Sherry Daniels, secretary; Gaylynne Holmes, historian; Kennie Hacking, Rochelle Hopson, Julene , Johnson, JoAnn Juarez, Allison Lewis, Joni Mecham, Rosalee Nuttall, Lisa Oswald, Sandra Perry, Jori Remington, Rem-ington, Tammy Taylor and Diane Wood. Awards were presented to drill team members by advisor, Cathy Price. "Karen Haslem was our president and she has been wonderful. She is dependable depen-dable and talented technique-wise. Our Miss Sharp award goes to Enette Timothy. She is another talented and dependable girl. Our wounded warrior is Rochelle Hopson. She hurt her leg during a last minute tryout this week. Sandra Perry is the fun one in the group. She really gets into the "Whip It" routine. Kennie Hacking is lovely and keeps us going. Joni Mecham has done a really good job. Sherry Daniels is our ultimate dancer. Gaylynne Holmes is a fun girl. She tells great jokes and sings great. The beauty of our group is Diane Wood and another good dancer is JoAnn Juarez." Price added, "Allison Lewis is our picture taker and she takes movies all the time. Our president for 1982-83 is a dedicated little girl by the name of Heidi Morris. I have really been impressed im-pressed this year with Tammy Taylor's marching and Lisa Oswald is a super drill team member. Another very good and dedicated dancer is Jori Remington. Rem-ington. Our most improved gal is Julene Johnson. I have really enjoyed having Rosalee Nuttall on the drill team this year." The drill team for the 1982-83 school year will consist of Heidi Morris, Julene Johnson, Lisa Oswald, Allison Lewis, JoAnn Juarez, Joni Mecham, Rochelle Hopson, Janalee Merrill, Kris Watkins, Joan Hacking, Sonjia Smuin, Sharalyn Slaugh, Stacy Dillon, Lorri Sawyer, Carrie Openshaw, DuJuanna Horrocks, Tami Lenhart, Julie Crane, Jerry Kay Fulkerson, Kerry Jones, Cheri Archer, Michelle Cook, Sonja Rosenhan and Louise Gudac. Uintah's flagtwirlers during the past year were Dawn Powers, Kathleen Huber, Robin Winn, Laura Kennedy, Rakeyl Massey, Michelle Peterson, Vicky Powell and Joni Reynolds.
