Show One fatal, 5 injures in accident A woman was killed and five others were injured Monday night when the care they were riding in hit a horse about two miles south of Whiterocks, the Utah Highway Patrol reported. Killed was Wilma W. Robb, 67, Whiterocks. Injured were Coene Bagley, 41, and her children Belinda, 17, Calvin, 6, Benjamin, 4, and Uvene, 2, all of Whiterocks. Coene Bagley, the driver, escaped with minor injuries. Belinda, Benjamin and Calvin Bagley suffered head injuries, and Uvene Bagley sustained a concussion and a broken shoulder, the UHP said. Benjamin Bagley also suffered a stomach injury. The car, a Volkswagen Rabbit, was heading northbound two miles north of the junction with State Route 121 when the accident occurred at 9:55. The horse came though the windshield and landed on top of the Robb woman, according to the UHP report. |
