OCR Text	Show Former residents receive honors The Grant Johnson and Huey Long families of Ava, Missouri, who were formerly residents of the Vernal area, were recently honored as outstanding dairy producers in a five mid-western state poll conducted by the Mid America Dairy Cooperative Association. One hundred and fifty-six dairymen were chosen from producers in Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri for the first quarter of 1982. Those selected were done so according to the results of tests made of the milk produced and prepared for shipment. The Johnsons and Longs have a joint venture in their southern Missouri dairy business.
