Those participating are the FFA queen, Kalene Hansen, members of the j. FFA, Soil Conservation Service, u' Agricultural Soil Committee, Dr. Ed Osearson, Utah Production Credit Association, Intermountain Farmer Association, Roosevelt; Forest Service, !L BUI, Uintah Cattlemen's Association, 3 Uintah County Farm Bureau, H.S. K' Sowards and Sons, Chamber's ABC Committee and numerous other businesses. ""t The theme for Agriculture Day will be "It's your heartbeat America." A poster contest in being headed by Dorothy Rasmussen, Uintah Cowbelles president. The grand winner of the poster contest will be a guest of the Vernal Chamber of Commerce, March 17. Sponsors of the day's activities are JB's Big Boy; Arctic Circle; Diamond Hills Cafe; Uintah Basin Tractor; Massey Ferguson; Ford and Hesston Equipment, Roosevelt; Utah Machinery, John Deere Equipment, Roosevelt; Roosevelt Equipment; and International Dealer, Roosevelt. Students at Vernal Junior High and the FFA students at Uintah High School, the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee, Charles Gray president, are the acting coordinators for Uintah County. |
