Pictured Dowell Ladies Club to hold rummage sale The Dowell Ladies Club will be sponsoring a rummage and bake sale on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 at the Kiwanis Scout House. Many good used items will be sold along with lots of new items that were donated by Vernal City merchants. Among those items to be sold are new and used clothes for men, women and children, household appliances and here are club members, I to r: Cindy Jennings, Susan Messenger, Lynnette Ray, and Jerri Held is seated to the foreground. goods, automotive equipment, photographic and dark room equipment, equip-ment, toys, some furniture and many miscellaneous items. All clothes, new or used, will be priced at $5 and under. All items are priced cheap for quick sale. The Dowell Ladies Club is a nonprofit non-profit organization has been working during the 1980-81 season to buy equipment for the new Vernal City Park and that is what the proceeds of the rummage and bake sale will be used for. The park will be located tentatively either by the swimming pool or by the pavillion. The Dowel Ladies feel that playground equipment is much needed in the Vernal community com-munity and will be used and enjoyed by everyone. They would appreciate your support and help in this project. |
