Show Sally Weeks dies in county hospital Lena Mae (Sally) Weeks, 67, died of lymphoma in the Uintah County Hospital March 5, 1981. Born Nov.' 30, 1913 in Quail, Texas, she was the daughter of John Washington and Ollie May Papasan Aldridge. She married Elba Fred Harkness Dec. 6, 1931 and later divorced in 1944. Married William Franklin Young, Aug. 25, 1947, divorced in 1952, and married Shirley Louis Weeks, May 9, 1952. She was a homemaker and member of the Southern Baptist Church. Funeral services were March 9 in the Kingsbury Community Church. Conducting Con-ducting the service was Rev. Dane Packard and Elaine Pacheco R.S.M. "You Light Up My Life" was sung by Jackie Shiner and Donna Haas. Following a unison reading of Psalm 23, Dorothy Peltier sang "In the Garden" accompanied by Melba Eaton. After a scripture reading, Dave Bell sang "For All the Saints." Prelude and postlude music was by Donna Haas. allbearers were John Young, Derrell Weeks, Steve Shiner, Kent Stringham, Vard Shiner and Duff Anderson. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Shiner and Todd Shiner. Survivors of husband of Roosevelt; son and daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Bettie Jo) Bryant of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Kent (Mary Margrett) Stringham of Vernal, John William Young of Great Falls, Mont.; step children, Mrs. Shirlene LaRay Summers of Sacramento, Calif., Derrell Mott Weeks of Riverton, Wyo.; 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; mother of Amarillo, Texas; brothers and sisters, Mr. Jesse Aldridge of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Ruby Goodwin of Amarillo, Texas and Mrs. Johnnie Schaffer of Del Norte, |
