Show Blue Mountain resident dies Elsa L. Hamill, 84, a homemaker and resident of Blue Mountain for 34 years, died Oct. 8, 1980 at St. Mary's Hospital following a three week illness. She was a sister to T. Pierre Morgan of Vernal who preceded her in death. Elsa L. Morgan was born May 3, 1896, at Steamboat Springs, Colo. She spent her childhood on the K-Ranch located on the Utah-Colorado state line. She attended at-tended the Wilcox Academy in Vernal. She and Charles Hamill were married mar-ried in October of 1960 at Elko, Nev. He preceded her in death. She was previously married to Claude Boyd. He died in 1944. Mrs. Hamill was an avid flower gard-ner gard-ner and enjoyed embroidery. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Grace Riley, Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Barbara Vaughn, Dinosaur, Colo., two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. |
