A two-car accident also occurred Monday at the intersection of Main and 1000 West at 3:55 p.m. A 1977 Dodge Aspen driven by a 16-year-old juvenile girl attempted an improper right turn from the wrong lane while traveling west on Highway 40. The car was struck by a 1974 Dodge Power Wagon driven by Irvin Plapper of Meeker, Colo. The girl received minor injuries and was transported to the county hospital.
