Show Naples j Jo' Openshaw I Shirley Prices return from Calif, vacation Shirley and Afton Price returned Wednesday of last week from a trip to Sacramento, Calif., where they visited the Bill Casaday family. They also enjoyed spending time in San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Oakland and Lake Tahoe and touring other places of interest. While in California the Prices received word of a new grandson, Shane Michael, born Oct. 14 to Dale and Sue Price of Salt Lake City. The baby weighed eight pounds six ounces. This is the second child for the Dale Price's and the thirteenth grandchild for Shirley and Afton. Marial Nash entertained at a family dinner Friday evening Oct. 17 in honor of her husband Ray's birthday. Present were Mark and Betta Nash and sons, Lee and Ann Nash and children, Clyde and Ruby Nash of Rock Springs, Wyo. Dale and Beth Nash and sons of Salt Lake City and the Ray Nash's. Their son Ray Lamar and family of Walnut Creek, Calif., were unable to attend but telephoned birthday greetings. On Saturday the Nash men enjoyed the deer hunt. Duane and Vadrus Wall went to Washington to take their grandson Tyson Holmes to his mother,' Laurie -Holmes. Joe Rakes is visiting his grandparents grand-parents Jimmie and Minnie Jones. Charlie and Chris McLarry visited their grandparents Clyde and Ina Chivers and family on their way to Denver, Colo., last week. Ada Openshaw and Connie Haslem were hostesses at a kitchen shower in honor of Sherri Haslem at the Openshaw Open-shaw home Friday evening. Naples 1st Ward held their annual ward conference last Sunday. Amy G. Pope went to Midvale to visit the Lonnie Oaks family last Thursday. Larin Ross and Karen Morrison , students of BYU visited their grandparents, grand-parents, Carl and Marvel Gardiner over the weekend. Linus and Tammy Harrison have bought the Lester Nielsen home and have moved there. Jimmie and Minnie Jones went to the Survival Fair at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City last week and recently went to Rock Springs, Wyo. Wade and Ronda Olsen and son Jason visited Mrs. Olsen's parents, the Fred Harris' and family last weekend in Beaver. Vadrus Wall and Marydith White attended the USU Extension Service in Logan Oct. 14, 15, and 16. George and Erma Enos of Liver-more, Liver-more, Calif., visited their parents Clyde and Ina Chivers and family a few days last week. Mark Perry of Salt Lake City visited his grandparents the Carl Gardiners overnight recently. Fred Roark of Pineville, Ken., is visiting friends here. Steve Cook, a student at USU in Logan visited his parents the Morris Cooks and family over the weekend. Visiting at the Von and Lulu Stewart home and enjoying the deer hunt pre: Terry Richardson and children from Hawaii; Larry and Deborah Johnson of Salt Lake City and Lynette Richardson of Salt Lake City. |
