Show SONGS BY CHILDREN FOR MOOSE PARADE Pupils of'Salt Lake Schools Feature of Red Cross Demonstration. Salt Iake school children, formed In front of the pos toff ice and sinking pu-triotlc pu-triotlc anthems during the passing of the parade, has been decided as one of the features of the Red Cross drive to be conducted next Saturday by the Loyal Order of Moose. At a conference of those in charge last night Evan Arthur volunteered volun-teered his-, services to lead the children and give them any instruction necessary. It is planned to have the pupils stand In a roped arena, with the big Ilag in the center of the formation. Members of the committee stated 1000 children could be used. Teachers and others to assist with the children ore sought by the committee. Mr. Arthur will be at the club rooms. 222 South West Temple street, at 5 o'clock tomorrow and Friday to give any aid he may in regard to this feature. Notification was received yesterday that the flag to be used in the parade, the largest in the world, which had been mlssent to New Orleans, was on its way here and would arrive in time. Many telegrams tele-grams offering the services of bands and marching clubs from lodges out of Salt Lake and the state, are being received daily. A meeting at which all details will be completed will be held at Moose hall tomorrow to-morrow night. |
