Show FOUR ENLISTED MEN PRAISED BY DANIELS WASHINGTON, May 14. Four enlisted men of the navy were commended by Secretary Daniels today for risking their lives to save men from drowning. They are Charles Perry Clark of No. 2159 State street, San Diego, CaL, and John H. Burke of Perry street, Spokane, Wash., who rescued a man from shark-infested waters at Cavite, Philippine islands; Millard Mil-lard Frank Staton of Jacksonville, Fla., who rescued a shipmate in a rough sea, and James Fulton Miller, Philadelphia, who jumped overboard from the U. S. S. Iowa, March 23, and rescued a drowning enlisted man. |
