Show 'smileage books' in increasing Local Headquarters Busy Answering Inquiries as to Amusement Coupons. Present daily movement of squads of volunteers for various army training camps and the approaching big hegira of draftees have started a drive at "smileage" headquarters in Salt Lake. In addition to the big push for the purchase of smileage books for soldiers, officials in charge are in receipt of an avalanche of lnquries concerning the operation of the smileage coupon system, cost and where negotiable. Making brief blanket answer to all inquiries, F. C. Schramm, district chairman chair-man of smileage book distribution, states that books are made up of ten coupons each and cost $1. Each coupon is worth 10 cents when tendered for admission to places of amusement maintained at concentration con-centration camps scattered about the country. The'se theaters are maintained in thirty-seven army camps, and in a short time four other camps will have the amusement facilities. The camps where theaters are now operated for the benefit of the soldier populace are: Aviation camp, Waco, Texas; Beauregard, Beaure-gard, Louisiana; Bowie, Texas; Fort Cas-well, Cas-well, North Carolina; Cody, New Mexico; Custer, Michigan: Devcns, Massachusetts; Dix, New Jersey; Dodge.
