Show EAST AND WEST WILL PLAY AGAIN TODAY East high and West high will again tangle in a baseball game this afternoon on ''the West high diamond at 4 o'clock. It will be the third game this spring between be-tween the two schools. The first contest on the Panthers' grounds was an easy victory for the West high, the East high pitchers being unable to hold the West high sluggers. The peculiar arrangement of the West high diamooud also puzzled the Leopards in their first game and contributed to their defeat. However, the Leopards have been putting" in some hard licks of late and are prepared to administer a defeat de-feat to the Panthers today. In the game at the East high last Friday Fri-day the Panthers again emerged vie- tor i,ou s by a close score. Poor support at critical times accounted for this win. Pent Rich, who has been pitching stellar ball for the Leopards, will again adorn the mound, while Bus Brown, who" faced the Leopards in the other two contests, con-tests, is prepared for another struggle. The two schools will clash Wednesday of next week on the East high campus in their fourth game. |
