Mr. Matson said yesterday that the main drift was in on ore for twenty-five feet and that the vein was now five feet wide. The ore occurs in replacements between the lime and barite, is of high-grade high-grade lead-silver, with some copper, three tons of this product being now on the dump and more' being taken out daily, with the assurance that a shipment ship-ment will be made at an early date. An immense bodv of low-grade ore is being developed, but Mr. Matson said that it would probably be several weeks before the extent of the deposits could bo in any wise accurately determined, although it is certain that there are many thousands of tons that are of a good shipping grade. |
