Show LLOYD GEORGE CONGRATULATES RUSSIAN PEOPLE LONDON, March 22, :06 p. m. Premier Pre-mier David Lloyd George today telegraphed tele-graphed the Russian premier saying he believed the revolution in Russia whs the greatest service the Russians hud yet rendered to the allied cause and that it was a sure promise tha i t he Prussian military autocracy, the only barrier to peace, would soon be overthrown. The telegram follows: It is with sentiments of the most profound satisfaction t hat the peoples peo-ples of Great Britain and the British domains have learned that their great ally, Russia, now stands with the nations na-tions which base their institutions upon responsible government. Much as we appreciate the loyal and steadfast co-operation which we have received from tho late emperor em-peror and the armies of Russia during dur-ing the last two and one -ha If years, yet I believe t hat the revolution whereby t he Russian people have hased their destinies on a sure foundation foun-dation of freedom la the grcn test service which they have yet made to 1 he cause for which t he allied countries coun-tries have been fighting since August, Au-gust, !U4.
