Show W IS I!S I HIGH GRADE ORES Developments, in Property Show Much of Interest; Good Product Apparent. An excellent showing of splendid lu'oress in the Lcouora mine of Star district, Beaver county, is evident, according ac-cording to an ofticiaf statement made ycterday by John Matson, president and general manager 01 the company. Mr. -Uatsou aud a number or. the heavy stockholders have just returned from an inspection of the property. The president sbated that the No. 1 wiuze was in four feet of ore that was going down, three feet of tho ore being high-grade inc, with one foot of a very desirable iron carbonate. In IS'o. 2 winze the east face has two feet of high-grade lead-silver-copper ore exposed, with the beds going down. The miners axe driving for a cross-fissure, w'hich Superintendent A. C. Nobeker anticipates an-ticipates will be reached within a few days, as the yard silicious lime is growing grow-ing much softer and much mineralization mineraliza-tion is noted in the cross fractures of the formation. The superintendent says that any shift is liable to bring the disclosure dis-closure of a big ore bodv, which, in any event, cannot be much further ahead. |
