Show COMMERCIAL LEAGUE TO HAVE 18 CLUBS Eleven Already Signed; Officers Are Elected; Captain Gregory Again Chosen President. A meeting of the Commercial Baseball Base-ball league was held last night at Spal-dings' Spal-dings' to discuss the 1917 season. Captain Cap-tain W II. Gregory, president of the organization, was re-elected to that office. of-fice. Tommy Fitzpatrick and A. A. Blaser were chosen first and second vice presidents, respectively. John Birken-stoek Birken-stoek was choseu secretaryjtreasurer. Forty-four enthusiasts attended the meetinfr. Eleven clubs were reDresent- ed and agreed to enter the league. The officials of the league expet at least seven more teams to join before another week passes. The Twilight and Sunday Sun-day morning divisions will again hold j forth as they did last year. |
