Show CITIZENSHIP THEME OF CHAPEL TALK Special to The Tribune. LOGAN", March 22. Professor Levi Edgar Ed-gar Young of the University of Utah, i representing the Sons of the American Revolution, addressed the students of the Agricultural college at- the weekly chapel exercises yesterday on the "Ideals and Duties of ' American Citizenship." Professor Pro-fessor Young referred to the potential economic, social and intellectual strength of the United States and called attention to the splendid ideals of liberty and free citizenship that afford unlimited opportunity oppor-tunity for Individual growth and development' develop-ment' and the highest form of community service. At the close of Mr.' Young's address the Rev. E. T. Lewis presented the gold medal awarded annually by the society to the successful competitor in the oratorical ora-torical contest which it conducts to Mr. I Harold Peterson. The contest, was held some time ago, when three other students stu-dents contested with Mr. Peterson for first honors. |
