The sale of "near beer" was held today to be a violation vio-lation of Arizona's recently adopted pro- I hlbition law by the state supreme court In a decision which construed the law to har the sale in Arizona of anv beverage containing any alcohol. The decision was rendered in the appeal of L. A. Brown, convicted in 'the superior ' court of Co- i chise county of selling- a beverage which, it was testified, contained one and three-fourths three-fourths per cent alcohol.
